Meerlust Chardonnay 2012
Very bright, polished platinum with green, vivacious hue. Complex, appealing nose with quince, citrus and floral notes developing into lemon cream, oatmeal and marzipan richness. On the palate the wine is full bodied & generous, but still balanced by crisp acidity. There is ripe tropical fruit & creaminess balanced by a pure minerality typical of the variety. The wine has a long, very pleasant lingering finish indicating the richness and persistence of the vintage.

Meerlust Chardonnay 1995
A brilliantly clear, pale gold color with hints of green. Initial aroma is reminiscent of lemons and limes with hints of creaminess vanilla and honey. This develops into a buttery, roasted almond bouquet with hints of nougat, marzipan and almonds. The palate is very full, with a rich mouthfeel, yet remains elegant and crisp. A long pleasant aftertaste of roasted nuts and butter.

Meerlust Chardonnay 1996
An elegant Chardonnay with complexity that reflects the aging of the vineyard. The bouquet has a honeyed sweetness, with hints of marzipan and roasted almonds. The palate is full with a rich buttery flavors and lingering aftertaste. A full bodied wine similar to the famous Montrachet style.

The wine is a brilliantly clear, pale gold with hints of green. The initial aromas are reminiscent of lemons and limes, with hints of creaminess. This develops into a buttery, roasted almond bouquet with hints of nougat, marzipan and honey. The palate is very full, with a rich mouthfeel - yet remains elegant and crisp. The wine has a long, pleasant aftertaste of roasted nuts and butter. The wine will develop well over the next two or three years, and maintain its peak for up to 4 or 5 years. Serve at 14°-16°C

Clear & bright, pale gold with pronounced green hue. Lime, crushed lemongrass & cream on the nose. Very fresh with hints of toast, honey & roasted nuts as well as nougat & marzipan. Fresh on the palate with citrusy and tropical fruit flavours followed by a rich creaminess & concentrated fruit finish. Palate also shows a pronounced chalkiness & minerality making it ideal for seafood.

Vibrantly bright platinum gold appearance with pronounced green hue. The expressive nose is complex with lime and lemongrass and a creamy, yellow apple bouquet. The nose also exhibits toasted nuts, marzipan and honey notes. On the palate the wine is full bodied and generous, retaining a vivacious freshness and crisp acidity. The mid palate is packed with a creamy mouth-feel and expressive minerality and the wine has a long, lingering pleasant aftertaste.
